The massage experience I went to recently was a really special time. I visited the massage parlors to relax my tired body and mind in my busy daily life. In fact, at first, I went there just for the purpose of healing because I was tired, but the experience became more meaningful than I thought.
When I arrived at the store, I was fascinated by the atmosphere in the first place. Delicate with warm lighting, tranquil music and aroma scented candles, the space made me feel more at peace and away from my daily routine. It felt like I was in a completely different world. The staff welcomed me kindly, and after a brief discussion about the type of massage I wanted and my physical condition, professional massage began.
The first part I started with was a full-body massage. The massage parlors, who was in charge of me, started off slowly, checking my physical condition very carefully. At first, I gently relaxed my muscles, then applied more and more pressure to focus on the areas where I was fatigued. In particular, my shoulders and waist were very lumpy, so I received intensive massages there. At first, I felt a little pain, but as time passed, I felt it was gradually easing. As my body gradually relaxed, I could feel the tension that had been building up gradually disappearing.
As I was getting the massage, I felt like my body was unraveling one by one. Especially when these little signals began to be released through the massage, I realized how hard it was for me. I realized that whenever fatigue and stress were building up, I needed to take a break and relax. I felt like my whole body was being relieved and my fatigue was being washed away during the massage, which made me feel much lighter.
Then I got the foot massage, which was really impressive. I focused on my feet, which were tired of standing or walking all day long. There are several important blood spots on the soles of the feet, where I felt like I was being intensively stimulated and refreshed. During the foot massage, I felt as if my whole body was shivering. As my feet warmed up, I felt my whole body gradually lighter.
The most impressive thing about getting the massage was that I experienced more than just relieving my fatigue. As my body relaxed, my mind relaxed together, and I felt the importance of time to take care of my body and mind. It also occurred to me that I felt like I had been overworked to relieve the stress and fatigue that had accumulated in my daily life. I had neglected myself because I was usually busy, but through this massage, I realized how important it is to take care of myself.
After the massage, I finished with a cup of tea. As if there was no fatigue and stress left in the past, my body and mind became lighter, and I felt at ease deep down. My body's energy was recharged, and I felt refreshed as if I were a new person.
It just occurred to me that I have been so busy all this time. Being chased by something, I sometimes forgot that I needed time to reflect on my body and mind. From this massage, I realized how important it is to take care of myself. I found that I needed time to relax my body and mind, and I decided I should try to have that time a little more often in the future.
The lesson I learned from this massage wasn't just relaxing, it was also realizing how much I have to care about myself. It was a precious experience that made me decide to take the time to take care of myself whenever I had time, and to let my body and heart say thank you.
