Nowadays, my body feels strangely heavy. I am tired even after sleeping and waking up, and my shoulders are always crouching. The longer I spent sitting in front of the computer, the more I felt my back was getting stiff. One day, when my tiredness became a daily routine, my friend accidentally said, "Get a home tie massage. It will really change my life."
Actually, I was a little skeptical when I heard about it. Shouldn't you get a massage at a spa? A space full of aroma scents, calm music, and so on. It felt a little unfamiliar to have a stranger come and do it at home. However, when I was tired to the tip of my head, I finally took out my cell phone and booked a home tie massage. 90 minutes, for a tie course.
The time is 8 p.m. When I finished my day's work, I took a shower and waited, and the doorbell rang on the dot. When I opened the door, a therapist greeted me with a quiet smile. His neat clothes, neat way of speaking, and he was reliable somewhere. As soon as I entered the room, I laid the mat, took out towels and aroma oil, and I was busy and careful. From the standpoint of receiving it for the first time, each of those delicacies came to me as a comfort.
Before the massage began, the therapist briefly asked about my physical condition. What's uncomfortable, what's good about the strength, and whether there's any sensitive area. I said my shoulders and neck are particularly stiff, and the therapist replied quietly, "Then I'll let you go around that."
And the massage that started.
At first, it was a stroke to relax my muscles lightly. Calmly, the hand movements that led to a certain rhythm began to cool down curiously. As the intensity got deeper, it felt like the pain that was curled up inside my body was revealed one by one. Especially when I pressed my back and shoulders, I couldn't help but think, 'Oh, this was the problem.' I felt like I was caught with my fingertips, how much I've been overworking my body.
Stretching was also included in the middle of the massage. The process of stretching your legs, twisting your waist, carefully disassembling and reassembling your body. "Exhale slowly." As I listened to the low voice of the therapist, my head dropped and my mind relaxed.
I wondered how fast 90 minutes could be. It felt like I was on a short trip. After organizing things, the therapist offered a glass of warm water and said, "Have a relaxing night." It wasn't until the door closed quietly that I realized the static lingering feeling that flowed in my room.
My body was light. My shoulders were down, and my neck turned smoothly. I felt comfortable breathing after a long time. That night, as soon as I lay in bed, I fell into a deep sleep. I didn't wake up once and stay the same until the morning. Then I woke up and thought. It wasn't just a massage. It was a quiet time of recovery, which made me look back.
Am I going to get it again?
Of course. 120 minutes this time.
